Hi,I did the following:
What is a cheaper alternative to dry cleaners?I use the dry cleaners all the time for my long sleeve work shirts which need to be pressed and wrinkle free for my line of work. The problem is, it's costing me a lot of money to do this. $ 8.10 for six shirts. Not a bad deal but does anyone know a cheaper alternative? No not the washer and dryer. The shirts lose its fabric if i do that and they dont last as long.

Oh yes they do last as long if you wash them normally then put them in the dryer w/ a dry bath towel on high for 12 mins.
Remove them immediately then hang them. They should be damp. The wrinkles come out and you don't have to iron them if you grab them fast and hang them.

Look into some of the new wrinkle-free shirts from places like Land's End or Eddie Bauer. If you wash them in warm water then dry them just until dry, they come out looking freshly pressed.

There also might be some type of home dry cleaning machine, but you would have to research the Internet for that

the best alternative is to do it yourself at home... but it is a big hassle to do all that and ironing too...

what i did was, ask my long time cleaners to give me a discount.
so every time i go now, i get automatic 25% off the total price.

cleaners would rather give you discount than losing the customer...
